Not meaning to rehash an old subject. But do I understand the PIAA website correctly? It implies they have no headlight replacement bulbs for late model A6's. Fog light replacements, only.

Are PIAAs worth the far more expensive price? There are other companies with H7. Also, I read that installing Super Bright white bulbs as fogs would actually be more dangerous when forced to use them in the fog. The less intense and more yellow halogen bulbs are supposedly better in fog.

There do seem to be fog lamp replacements available, meantiime. Look at Autolamps.com.
PIAA.com has some fog bulbs, too. But I did not bother to look as to color.

Some drives believe the whiter light offers improved vision. There are other companies, but it is questionable whether their bulbs are legal for street use, or not. Ie: Prostreetlighting.com.
When you ask them "legal or not", you sense that they throw their hands up in the air, claiming they don't know. At least PIAA does make the claim in writing that their bulbs are legal in all 50 states.
