Default Pics of "Clay"-color A6 Winter Mats with Melange Interior

I noticed some folks on the forum asking about winter floor mats for the A6. Here are the Audi "Clay"-colored winter floor mats that I just purchased from Clair. The mat color matches the upper dash color better than the picture indicates. And the lighter color A6 logo is a nice comlimentary color.

Beware of the "rubber" odor you get for a while

Thanks for the pics. Front's OK but the rears look too small. Dirt is going to get on the carpeting.

Default Front seat was fully forward making the rear mats look smaller...

They are the same size as the OEM carpeted ones.

Default Be that as it may, isn't the 2.8L available with a 5spd manual?

Just givin' ya a hard time - actually I keep hoping to get a Tiptronic loaner to play with and see what I think....not that I forsee going to a slushbox , but the Tip sounds like the best of the autos out there.

I really do appreciate the pictures! You have the same interior I do, and it's nice to see how the colors match up.

Default A 5sp manual is available...

...but I think it's in the lower trim models. Of course, my Frontrak is considered one of the lower trim models compared to the more upscale 2.8Q's, 2.7T's, amd 4.2's.

I do find that my 2.8 engine feels like a screamer given that a) I came from the Honda 4-cylinder world and b) My Audi is unencumbered by the added weight and friction of the Quattro system. It remains to be seen if I regret my lack-of-Quattro choice this winter although I have modest winter driving needs. On the other hand, the dealer almost gave me the car ($800 over invoice).
