Pictures from the local Audi Dealer Event (A8, R8, RS6, Pobst's personal A4 wagon, etc...)
Three BEAUTIFUL A8Ls were there. One dark green, one black and one silver. Randy Pobst's RS6 racecar was there. I have a bad quality movie with him revving the engine (with the hood open). Sounded awesome. It's about 7Mb, but I'll email it to you if you can handle an attachment that large. Galati, Pobst, Herbert and another driver were there. All really nice guys. It was Johnny Herbert's 39th B-Day, so they got him a cake and sprayed him with that string stuff.
I WANT AN A8 SO BAD. Droooool......
The RS6 looked really small, it was strange, I'm not sure why. Check out the brakes on that monster .
Randy Pobst pulled up in an A4 Avant 1.8T with a nice looking ground effects kit and nice rims. It's the black one in the pictures.
Oh, and the last picture is a Tourage (sp?). Really nice, but really expensive (IMHO) for a 220HP SUV. Sticker was a little over $40k. I'd rather have an FX35 for that money. Is that at Jim Ellis Marietta?
I'm going to the sister event at Jim Ellis PIB main location tonight, if I make it back from Naples (FL). I'm about to wake everyone up and start loading the car, so we can get on the road.
