You all are kidding right? Slotted and drilled so they brake faster? lol... They let gasses out from between the pads and the rotors while braking.
What is the cause of pad deposits? bad choice of pad selection amd impropper bedding techneques. Pure and simple!..
Hawk HP ceramic, proper bedding = no issues at all.

So, lemme ask this. Were the HP2 4-Pad High Performance Front Brakes any good? Because last time I checked majority of other brakes where just one big pad. Sooo was this system from them any good?

yes, but your criteria are hard to figure out. They had lots of swept area. They released built up gasses and stuff due to the multi-pad system. They had even application of pressure since they were rigid and had two pistons.
Are they brembo? No. They float. I freaking love the brembs on my other car.
For the road, most brakes are more than you need - if they are well maintained. Big if.

I also have Zimmermans on mine... infact the second set never had an issue. I did have EBCs greens on the first set, but I went on a long vacation (5 weeks during wintertime) and the rotors were so badly rusted when I got back I had to replace them (caused huge brake shudder). I replaced them with Zimmermans, but Satisfied pads. The car has since been standing on and off and the rust buildup is not nearly as bad and fast as with the Greenstuff pads. All I can think is that they have some additive in the pads that thrives on this weather and the deposists on the disc just eats it away. No scientific backup for statement, just my opinion
Anyway the satisfied pads are awesome. The bite is great and on highspeed braking there is NO fade. Linky if anyone is interested... http://www.satisfiedbrakes.com/motorsports/index.html (GS6 pads)
