Any recomendations on where to buy coilovers? How much should I expect to pay. How about for the labor?

I had H&amp;R/Bilstein combo and then upgraded to the H&amp;R 'street' coilovers. The CO are definitely a step up from what the spring/shock combo was...it is actually a much more comfortable and less bouncy ride with the coilovers. A <i>little</i> stiffer BUT the overall feel of the CO is <i>much</i> better.

Then again, I drive an S4 and my style of driving is probably different than yours. Whatever you choose I'm sure you'll have fun

Has your comfort level increased since install of coilovers? I've read a few of the posts but can't gather that one is better than the other. I might be able to get into a set of H&amp;R coilovers for about $1200, and the Eibach/ Bilstein set-up will run about half of that. Install is the same whichever I decide. A good susp system is worth the extra $600 bills but if it's not that much of an improvement then I'll stick with the less expensive of the two. Please continue to indulge and humor my quest for the ultimate A6 avant...TIA
