Default Yes FGR7KQE0 is the OE plug or the NGK BKR6EQUP but,

you said + 4. The factory plug is not a +4. Is that a Bosch 4417 +4 your showing? If so thats a V6 plug. The plug number you gave is correct for the car but it is not or supposed to be a +4. The pic and the number are not the same animal.

Default Yes, the pic might be representing a different plug...

But the plugs I ordered are correct for a V8 and these all should come pre-gapped...right?

Default If you ordered the FGR7KQEO, then yes they will be correct

and they wont be +4's which is as it should be. Yes they are pre gapped not adjustable.

http://63.150.115.104/CommerceGateway/pictures/Porsche%20J-Pegs%5CFGR7KQE.jpg that is what the OE bosch plug looks like for the 4.2. I do not know if there is a difference between the FGR7KQE and the FGR7KQEO. Bosch website lists the QE as an original.

The OE NGK plug is the BKR6EQUP Laser Platinum, or the BKR6EKUB standard is compatible.

I've had great luck with the NGK plugs, bosch has given me some problems in the past, especially the +4.

Note that the +4 plugs are not the same as the OE bosch plugs. If you go to Bosch website, they do not even list a +4 application for the 4.2.

Default Changed my order to NGK's...

What would I do without Audiworld?! Thank you for your advise.
I've ordered the NGK BKR6EQUP plugs.
Kinda pricey at 9.50/ea + shipping! Nothing about Audi is cheap, not even wiper blades.

I also came across some excellent instructions for installation.

Thank you Audiworld!!<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/421010.phtml">4.2 V8 Spark Plug replacement instructions</a></li></ul>
