14 month wait ?? Plenty of XC90 inventory here
Dealers here in California have inventories of XC90s. My local dealer had 3 last week when I was out tire kicking. That's really surprising...why are Volvos so hard to get there?

Re: Hmm ... I have an A6 sedan and an XC70, text drove an XC90, so I'll throw in my general OPO's.
I'm a bit sceptical about the tail-gate as well, it makes the trunc awful-deep (in 5-seat-mode), Some test said that not even an orangu-than could reach the far end of the trunc

Well, evidenlty over here....
... the importer is cutting costs by not keeping any inventory. They then try to say that this is a good thing by claiming that "a Volvo is always built just for You", trying to make it more luxurious - a bit cheap if You ask me!
