Possessed Alarm
In have a 2000 Black Audi A6. The first two years I owned it the alarm worked fine. The past year the alarm will sound for no reason when the car is parked in the sun. Needless to say this is very annoying.
I don't really need the alarm and would be happy just to deactivate it permanently.
Anyone experience this problem and have a solution? Any ideas are appreciated.

Most likely the Interior Motion Sensor thats doing it....
Do you leave the windows rolled down?
You can turn the Motion Sensor off via the button next to the drivers seat paired with the trunk open button. You can also adjust it's sensitivity with a VAG-COM.
