Possible to remove grab handle from door panel?

Possible to remove grab handle from door panel?
I STFA but could not find if the grab handle can separated from the rest of the door panel. It appears to be plastic molded in. I wanted to paint the peeling paint on the grab handle. I would hate to have to mask off the entire panel.
