I just got around today to changing my bent BBS RX rim with a new replacement. The bent rim has
a flat spot about 2-3 inches long on the inside lip of the rim. The Hunter 9700 said "replace", so I did. Does anyone think it is possible get such a problem repaired so that the rim can be retained a spare? Or is it really just toast for the junk heap? Thanks.

Also notice the photos of the before/after. All the wheels are aligned with the valve stem socket on top. These people seem very OCD. In my experience, OCD vendors are the most likely to do good work. Anyone knows what their flat fee is? It's a really nice day outside and I'm too damn lazy to call.

My flat spot was very similiar to yours and was repaired to better than factory tolerances according to the Hunter machine I had measure the runout during road force balancing.
