did they charge you extra for painting the lower valence part? i'm getting my rear bumper painted cuz i got rear ended, and since they're already painting the bumper, couldn't they just paint that too? did it cost extra? thanks

My body shop did not charge extra to paint the valence...
I guess they considered it part of the bumper, but at some body shops that may be a different story.
If you've been rear ended push for a bumper replacement not a re-spray.
