Power Steering Fluid level over Max mark
Hi...
I've just checked my Power Steering Fluid level (as a routine check) with the engine off (and cold) and the front wheels pointing straight ahead. The PS Fluid level is about 1.5cm over the max mark. Will this be a problem and cause damage to the power steering components? Should I remove some fluid until it reaches the max mark?
Please let me know. Thanks.

Easy enough to do if you've got a syringe.....
....I just 'borrow' syringes from work. The extra room in the reservoir is there for when the fluid expands in volume as it gets hot. Also provides a place for foam to go, if any should form. My reservoir cap (2001 2.7T) has little weep hole in it, to vent excess fluid if needed, albeit all over the engine comparment.
