Default Pre-Owned Price for a 2001 2.7t?

I found a certifited pre-owned used 2001 A6 2.7t quattro w 27k miles on it in southern california and they are asking just under 29k for it. It is automatic which sucks, because I really wanted manual but I haven't found any dealers with one. I'm just curious what type of offer I should be making and what a good deal would be for this car.

Thanks

Way too high. I don't like paying over Edmunds wholesale/trade-in.

It seems as though it would be tough to get a dealer to give me the wholesale/trade-in price for the car. Does anyone have any experiences tips they could share as far as negotiating?

Thanks

Default Less Supply = Higher Prices on West Coast

there are not too many '01 CPO A6 w/low mileage(let alone 6spds) on West Coast. However for some reason the Autos are prices a little higher... IMO -- This one assuming it has all the packages should be had for $26K.
