Default Preventive Maintenance for your 2.7T!

Whether you have a stock 2.7T or a highly modified 2.7T, protect your assets with AMS's re-inforced Throttle Body Boot Kit!

Does your 2.7T have more than normal turbo lag, experience sudden loss of power, or difficulty staying in idle? Maybe it's time to check your throttle body boot. A boost leak from a torn TBB may cause turbo failure if not detected early!

AMS's re-inforced Throttle Body Boot Kits are enclosed with Kevlar wrapping for strength and come with special Oetteker spring-loaded clamps to keep from cutting through the boot during high boost.

Start your Christmas shopping early with this perfect present for yourself or someone else! We offer a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty on our AMS re-inforced TBB. The price is $89.95 and shipping is free until Christmas! Don't forget, we also have Hyperboost valves and AMS 2.7T Poly Mounts in stock for immediate shipment.

Default I had one, it lasted longer than stock but eventually gave out just like stock...

In my opinion it is indeed worth buying if you have a chipped car or should I say it is the least you should do if chipped. I run GIAC X and I got about 10K miles out of it but I did get it second hand and I suspect the original owner got more than that out of it. I went through 4 regular TBB's in very short order once I got the X-chip.
The best solution however is it to replace with hardened part like Bipipe or RS4, the original Audi part is poorly designed, wrong material etc.
