Default Problem with climate control

Hi all,

I'm new to these boards and have a problem. I've already done a few searches but haven't been able to get anything useful.

The entire climate control system in my '98 A6Q is not working. In fact, everything below the stereo seems to have no power. I know it's not a fuse because it has worked once or twice from startup since the problem began. Anyone else have a similar problem? If so, what did it turn out to be? Hopefully something my extended warranty covers anyway. Thanks.

Default Ingition swithch problem?

I have a similar problem. In my case, the ignition switch does not fully return from the start position. If I "help" it return to the "on" position everything works normally. I am scheduled to have it replaced under "Audi Assured" next week. The tech stated they can lube it, and would do so, if it was not under warranty. I elected to have it replaced.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a problem with the ignition, at least wiggling the key didn't work. I'm gonna take it in on Monday, just wish I knew what the problem was. I think it's some kind of dirty/corroded contact somewhere. I'll probably mess with the fuses tomorrow.
