Could be frozen throttle body. I had mine go out on my 99 2.8. Frozen in the closed position whenver you let off the throttle. Had to be replaced.

Default No idle air stabilizer/idle control valve on 30V cars. Has the battery been disconnected recently?

Check and clean the throttle body of carbon and gunk and do a do a throttle body adaptation. The latter is especially important if the battery or ECU has been disconnected.

Also look for small vacuum leaks, especially if the at speed performance gets worse.

Default No, I have no problem with the battery,

Everything begun one morning, I did not used the car for a few days, and did not started at the first, but was a hesitation on the motor. I stepped on the gas and the problem was corrected but the check engine light when on.
Then a few days ago. I notice that sometimes not always, the car just died when I lower the speed to stop, now is more frequently. I put a bottle of Fuel System cleaner on the gas on Sunday, I'm waiting to see if this makes a difference. I will follow your advise and clean the throtle body.
I will let you know.
Thanks

Default Cecil says there isnt one, btu I cant understand that

I dont have a 30V - so no, not precisely. But **something** is dealing with idle air management and idle speed (and its no longer a set screw onthe bypass channel at the throttle - that vanished in the early 90s) - that's what I'd look at.

Have you pulled codes?

Grant

Default Thanks, I found out the problem. Was the suction Pump.

Friday evening the car was dripping oil all over the motor. I search the forum and checked the suction pump and I replaced it and the car is fixed.
Thanks too much.
