Default Part # G 012 A8FA4? That is G12+ - it superceeds G12. The + formula is an HOAT coolant.

The older style G12 was a straight OAT, and while OK is not as good as the HOAT formulation. Doubt you can find any old style G12 around anymore, but it will have a different part number with a "Z" in it somewhere.

You can just buy Valvoline G-05, which is a HOAT coolant.

I don't think that's miscible with G12(+); it'd require a full flush.

Agree, the G-05 stuff is good coolant; but I like the G12+ color better. ;^P

Default Not sure about that

G12 is an OAT coolant, G-05 and G12+ are HOAT.

So switching from G12 to G-05 should not be any worse than from G12 to G12+.

If you have G12+ already I can understand wanting to stick with that.
