Has anybody tried those super white headlight replacement bulbs from Prostreet Lighting? Do they do any good, and can they be used without burning up the lamp housings and wiring?

I actually purchased some bulbs from them a few months ago. I was looking to replace the bulbs for my headlights and they sent me a bulb that didn't fit. They were pretty good about returns and exchanges. They the then shipped the bulbs out to me a second time and the wrong bulbs arrived again. They sent the foglight bulb instead of the headlight bulb. So, I said forget it and now I am actually stuck with some foglight xenon bulbs. I am not planning to install them so if your interested I would be willing to sell them to you. I am also concerned about the bulbs burning up the lamp housing or wiring. Good Luck.

Hey Navigator...post this on the A4 forum... those guys talk about bulbs all the time!

PIAA does not yet produce a main headlight bulb
or a fog light bulb that fits the late model A6.
They had told me on the phone earlier this summer that in perhaps a years' time they would have a bulbs for the A6. At least they are a known quantity, with guarantees. That's the reason why would be concerned about Prostreet, and your report about having their shipping dept act together is not encouraging.
