Default PSA : Audi's Aluminum crush washers are junk ! Copper is best for Turbo banjo bolts

Just finished reassembling my B5 with big fat juicy Turbo's - this time I used all copper washers (I got cheap from ECS) on the banjo bolts instead of the Audi OE Alum crap. After assembly and torquing I heat-cycled with a torch as usual, and yet I did not have to re-tighten a single one.

Ran the beast for an hour and still perfect.

Copper is better. Lesson learned.

Default Good jerb. Aluminum wiring is problematic for the same reason, it tends to "relax" or "flow" after..

...the initial tightening in a screw terminal.
