Default PSA, lube your door latches w/waterproof, freezeproof lube

like Boeshield T9 or a good moly. We had some rain, then snow which froze overnight. The driver's door would open, then would just bounce off the striker. You have to push the latch (door) down for it to close. A good lube that displaces water helps.

Geez Germans, I thought these cars were engineered for the great north & Alps, but NW PA puts a door out of action....

Default This has happened to me too...especially in freezing rain storms in the northeast....

but it's not an Audi-specific issue. It happens to a lot of cars. Park inside. 8-)
