Default i have the dreaded *CLUNK* going over any minor bumps in the road...

and when i turn the wheel from side to side quickly i can hear and feel something clunking. is there anyway to diagnose which CA's are actually causing it? i am anticipating just buying the while kit from you guys but my wallet is bone dry at the moment and if i could confirm that its only the uppers, that would save me a lot of money... any thoughts or input? TIA

Default oh, believe me, I was thinking of you and re-reading that post Saturnday ...... after the

end of the %^#$*! pinch bolt sheared right off. 4+ hours with the drill sucked. The other side will probably be just as bad.

Default Really isn't an easy way.

We load the suspension with the tires off, and trying to duplicate the sound stationary. Twisting on the arms can help to determine if it's bad, but without removing the arms it's really difficult to tell sometimes.

Default I tried rapping on the arms/joints with a rubber mallet. I couldn't duplicate the sound.

Mine sounds like it's coming from right behind the drivers side front wheel. It's most apparent when I have the window down at a drive thru. At first I thought it was a loose subframe bolt, but those seemed to check out too.

Default I inject grease into them one by one, and see which one is the last one.. Then I leave them alone...

till they start clunking again. Then I inject grease one by one, and see which one is the last one to creak/clunk..

Eventually, I replace the bad one..

I know. I would have considered the Stern adjustable CA's too.
