A: A kickass commute!!!!
My sig. other took off today to work at home, and I was out the door a little after 6 am. Temp was a brisk 46F and the roads to work were deserted. I would do this on a regular basis, but she can't get up early. Anyway, sunroof cracked, window down just a bit to get the brisk air in my face, and man, what a drive in!
The turbos love that chilly air. I just wish the oil would come to temp a little quicker. I missed some really good twisties at max fun because I was shifting before 3K rpm. All backroad 2 lane highways, no schoolbusses, very few other cars. Quite invigorating. Hope you all have as good a day as I am off to.

Everyone talks all the time about "warming up the turbos" and getting the oil temperature up a bit before driving hard. But guess what? The turbos, especially if you are chipped, are doing significant work even down at 2K RPM.
I really try to stay off the gas until it warms up, even at lower RPM, but who knows? If I hear the turbos at all before the engine is warm it makes me cringe. I just wish I had a little controller that limit the boost to next to nothing until the temperature gets up.
