Default Quality of Blauparts TB kit components???

Received my ”enhanced” 2.7T timing belt kit from Blauparts today and observed the following. The TB which is described on their website as –OEM Manufacturer is a Flennor (never heard of them) The serpentine belt and thermostat/oring, are both free with the enhanced kit; both of these are a “TeileQualitat” brand, once again I have never heard of them. I am not really looking forward to doing this job (appears that my thermostat is not opening so car is parked in the garage) but my expectation would be to use only OE/quality parts particularly with the belts and thermostat. Should I be concerned with the quality/reliability of the parts delivered?

I'd be more worried that the kit is missing a bunch of seals.

I had the blau tb kit and valve cover gasket kit done to mine at the same time..you want to do all the serviceable seals at this time. the quality is more than fine. but like driver noted, do all the seals now also. cam seals, cam adjuster seals, cam plugs, valve covers...

Blau , should come out w an "ultimate" kit and combine their enhanced tb kit w their valve cover gasket kit.

Both manufacturers make OEM stuff for major car companies so this is quality stuff. I have personal experience with couple of kits from Blau and the quality was always VERY good and prices impossible to beat for their kits, unless you went with shady brands naturally.

I received all the seals and everthing else expected in the kit, the components I mentioned along with the manufacturer just was a little surprising.

Done two Timing belts with Blau Part kits on an AHA and an ATQ....no issues thus far with either.

Regardless, the kit as purchased does not contain all the seals required to do the job correctly.

What you ordered/expected/got and what you need to do the full service are two different things.

is there a write up then of all the items needed for the TB service? My 2003 4.2 has 71K miles on it now and I am starting to plan for this service.
