Question about Canadian exchange rate and car pricing
Now that the Canadian dollar is approaching 85 cents US why is it that our import pricing on cars has not changed? To buy a new loaded A6 is about 70,000 Canadian whereas the same car is 45-50 US...Shouldn't it now be about 58-60 K Canadian using the current rate?
Please explain why we Canadians are still paying so much more for vehicles???

Because you're Canadian !............also, you need to compare Canadian$ to Euro for a German import and Canadian Tax and excise rates are high.
