Default Question about coding the central locking system, I dont need the factory alarm

i was wondering if there is a way to code my central locking module so the alarm is not armed. I still would like the keyless entry to work so i can use my after market alarm which taps into the wires on the module. Right now i have to disarm my car, start it, the re-arm it in order for the factory alarm to not go off.

I am trying to get around having to do this but it is not a big deal if i cant figure it out. There is a factory alarm disarm wire on my remote start but that would unlock the car before it starts, i would then have to go and lock it back up right after.

Thanks for any input

Default just use the remote for the after market alarm

should be able to by-pass the oem alarm if you don't set it

Default One slight problem....

The factory alarm is set when the aftermarket one locks the car, i used the arm and disarm wire of the keyless module to unlock and lock the doors. There is a factory alarm disarm wire on the viper alarm i have, i will probably just use that, and set my doors to lock when the car is remote started. That way i dont have to press any buttons, it just does the unlock and lock itself.

thanks for your help
