Default Question on ESP . . .

Is the ESP symbol supposed to flash if ESP is invoked? Admittedly, I've been very gentle with the throttle during break-in, but I haven't seen the symbol flash, or ever felt anything that seemed like the ESP kicking in. Even in slippery conditions where I've felt a little give at the rear end when I tried to provoke fish-tailing at low speed I didn't feel anything happen. Maybe I need to go someplace safe to play with this the next time it gets slippery. (BTW one of my first impressions after driving the car for a while is the handling is pretty much idiot-proof. Could prove useful.) Thoughts?

Yes, the ESP light flashes when in use. Amazing system.

Default You'll know it when it happens...

If you get it loose you'll feel some power loss and the ESP light will flash for the duration that it kicks in. Obviously the more loose you get the more you'll notice it. Try it in a wet vacant parking lot some night. It is amazing.
