Quick Q on Tire A6 2000 MY
Need to change.
Kumho (712 tread) has good reviews on Tirerack.
I had 215/55/16 as OEM. If I fit 225/55/16, will there be any rubbing?
I am using WINEGLASS rims(OEM)
Tried searching the forums but cant get to the point answer. Will somebody help?

You're safe as far as rubbing goes. (More)
You won't get any rubbing with 225/55R16s. Speedometer error would be minimal; at an actual 60 mph (assuming your speedo is accurate now), your speedo will indicate 58.99 with the new tires.
If you're going to upgrade and keep the 16" wine glasses, why not go with 235/50R16s? The extra width will improve grip, ride, and handling without any danger of rubbing. At an actual 60 mph your speedo will read 60.14 mph.

Any change in rolling diameter introduces error.
The good news is that in most there are many combinations of tire width, aspect ratio, and wheel diameter that come very close to providing the original rolling diameter, so speedometer and odometer accuracy don't need to be compromised.
