Default Raced a AMG E55 last night in a buds RS6

I knew his RS6 was fast, not overly fast. I think it is slooooow of the line due to the weight and quattro working hard. Power comes on hard and then just fades off as the rpms build.

I think the car should pull hard all the way like a viper, 911 or Z06. But then this is a sedan, not a sports car.

However, just ccoming out of Detroit and heading to Port Huron. A E55 AMG came up beside us on the highway and of course he wanted to play.

We did, that car with all its torque just ate us up everytime. That car is way faster than the RS6. I believe the magazine now for sure! I don't care what you guys say. My buddy has spent countless hours in racing schools, so I know he can drive. Plus, how hard is it to floor it at highway speeds.

Damn that AMG is fast!!!!!!!!!!!! Audi needs some more horses or torques!

Default I believe an AMG is faster than an RS6, but here in the midwest, I'd like to see that E55 AMG in the

snow and we get PLENTY of it here. There is no substitute for the quattro. If you want plain ol' fast just strap a rocket on the back of a Ford Festiva. Speed is only one aspect of the whole package and the RS6 does it all cumulatively better than the E55 AMG. My opinion of course.

Default Time to use the "Text-Analyzer" and see if we have a match.

But why would someone come back to stir things up and not have the b@lls to use his "real" name?

Default it isn't so fast - read

I've chipped my RS6, only another 40hp on the mustang, and the g-tech log shows that the in-gear speeds are now E55 capable, and the quarter mile is better than the E55:

30-50: 1.5s
40-60: 1.9s
50-70: 2.0s
60-80: 2.5s
0-100mph: 10.0s (lazy launch)
quarter: 12.4s @ 116mph (lazy launch)

The RS6 may be difficult to launch but it can do better than the E55 due to latter traction problems. Also RS6 standard limits boost in 1st gear, chip does not.
