FYI just got off the phone with metra they are now shipping to a car stereo shop near you the face plate kit for your a6 style auto called 99-9101

The right way..
to do it is to tap in and add a sub for more bass. Hook up Ipod and you are set. I wouldn't want to screw up stock appearance for after market crap. However, I want the New nav and that fits nicely w/out cheap trim plates.
