Default Radio removal tools not working

I'm trying to pull my radio out to attach my pro-fit xm radio bracket and the removal tools don't seem to be working for the top right and bottom left. The other two slide in and click and then are difficult to come out. The top right and bottom left just slide in and out with no clicks or anything. Seems like their not engaging anything.

Anybody got a tip or what I might try instead or in addition?

Default Once they are inserted...

into the slots, they should click. But, don't try to remove the radio by pulling on the removal tools, instead, grab the head unit at the slot for the tape deck. a couple of fingers in the tape deck, and pull stright out.

Once the head uinit is out, remove the tools by depressing the retnetion clips. The tools do not need to be in the head unit for installation...in fact, they should not be in, as they are nearly impossible to remove properly unless the head unit is out.

Are you local to MA? If so, I can give you a hand, otherwise, someone else wil have to help you.

2 click, 2 don't and they slide in and out freely. I'm in CT. Thanks for the offer though.

Default I agree with BD... they should all click in, otherwise they aren't going to work

You may have to fiddle with them to get them to click in... my Symphony I was a PITA to get out the first time. Also, just in case, make sure you're putting them all in the right way, curved side to the inside.

Default Not desperate yet but I'll keep it in mind...

I did get my 4" magnaflow tips today though. The ones you suggested. Might have to combine the get together for the radio with getting some tips from you on my valance cutting. Got a baby (real one, not a car) due any day so I may have to wait a few weeks. I'll let you know.
