Default Rccommended Offset For 2.7T

what is the offset i'm looking for? 18 x 8 with 35mm offset? does that sound about right? i don't want any rubbing with 235/40/18 tires.

thanks

Default Yup, that's what you want...

Mine is 18x8.5 w/ the same offset. No rubbing complaints w/ either an 8" or 8.5" wheel and using those size tires. You should be fine.

BTW, what make/style wheels are you looking at?

i have a set of Speedline 2209's that were on my passat - but they have an offset of 31mm - i'm afraid that might cause some rubbing, but i'm not sure is 4mm will make much difference or not? any ideas?

Default I highly doubt that would make a difference...

and shouldn't rub, but you could ask over at AW's Wheel/Tire forum just to double check. Heck, I've seen wheels w/ offsets between 30 - 38 for our Audis. I don't see why ET31 won't fit.

BTW, good to see another Speedline owner here. Not too many of us around.

Wheel/Tire Forum

Great looking ride........I've been debating over staying with my 17" stock bbs style or going to the 18" RS4's......Your picture just convinced me! Thanks.

btw...are those replica or OEM?

On a 2.7 a 35 is really good. I have a 32 offset and it looks great.
