Simple pad job right??? No. Using retract tool or mega C clamp, my piston won't retract. I'm stuck in middle of job. Any advice?
Thanks,
Jeff

take a pair of wide-throat pliers, grasp and rotate the piston clockwise (as you look at the front of the piston) just a bit (less than 1/8 turn), then push piston in a bit; do it again; do it again;do it again, until the piston is in. no need to force anything! these rear pistons lock in the extended position to prevent unintended retraction, which would cause your emergency brake not to work... think about it. Regards!
