those f*!@$ng tabs the first time I did it... can you tell I'm still ticked off at those things? Once you find 'em though, it is a piece of cake.

I took two flat head screw drivers, the ultra small kind and pushed them back into the top of the cup holder assembly. I wiggled and giggled them until they pushed the clips up and the screw driver was inbetween the cup holder housing and the clips.

What ususally happens is that that screw driver hit the wall of the recess that the clips hold onto, you need to get them past that wall. You can see from the picture that I chewed it up a bit with the screw drivers. With each screw driver holding the clips up, you can pull the sucker out,
