The rear seat on one side lifts up somewhat .. on the other side it does not .. how is the rear seat held down ? from under the car ? or is there some ttrick to unfastening and refastening the rear seat ?

the seat bottom slides into the back and snaps down in the front. it's not snapped down. check and make sure there's nothing preventing the seat bottom from latching.

turns out two of the plastic clips were pushed right through .. I'll need to order new ones .. you are always afraid to pull unless you are sure ..
