Default rear swaybar

Which rear swaybar brand is best upgrade for 01 2.7T? What would be approximate cost for parts and labor? Are aftermarket brands better that one from dealer? Thanks for your input.

Default Here you go

P/N 4B0-511-409-F = bar
Bushings for sway bar #4BO-511-327 - 2 required

Parts from clair.com = about $110 shipped.

Labor - no more than $50

this is the sport package rear bar, and is universally praised

Default Sway vs. Springs

Recently, I spoke w/ my Audi service manager and he suggested upgrading the springs vs. just doing the sway bar. Not sure if this was a sales driven suggestion or true performance recommendation. Obviously, the sway bar cost $200 and the springs, etc. cost over a grand. Any insight?

Default I think the springs/shocks are the best thing I have ever done to a car

that along with the PSK rear bar comletely changed the charachter of the car.

Default Just settled the Vibe, hesitant to upset things...

For <$200, the sway is very inticing. I really dislike the rocking back and forth around curves. But not sure I want to drop $1,000+ into the car right now. Did you do the sway first, then the springs/shocks?

Default The Eibach Pro- Kit should set you back no more than $300

Check out tire rack

If you want to spend a grand or so your talking coil-overs.

Default no - that is just for parts. (m)

Here is my set up:

Springs - 280
shocks - 480
Install - 520

Total - around 1300

It only makes sesne to do the shocks when you do the springs as the labor is about 90% the same.

Coil overs are up to about $1400+ , but the install is much less

Default Ya but! That ugly wheel well gap...

I'm pleased with Eibach springs after 15k miles. Shock life has probably been compromised but I couldn't live with the elevated look.
