The last several new cars had the following miles on them when we took delivery.
Toyota Paseo 65 miles (Girlfriend's car.)
Dodge Neon 110 miles (Girlfriend's son's car.)
Ford F-150 12 miles (Company truck.)
Corvette 145 miles (Hmm, was the wash boy having some fun?)
Audi A6 4.2 1300 miles (Dealer demo. leaked water, dealer buy-back)
Audi A8 85 miles. (Had only 8 miles on it when I first saw the car. Somebody drove it around a bit, probably looking for any problems to be sure I was pleased with this one and that it had no faults.)

That milage is normal. The car has to be run thru the shop after it arrives at the dealership, and a service tech always tests it out. As far as reasonable milage on a new car, 200 miles or less. Cars are demoed, cars are traded between dealers, some cars come from the factory with miles on them. The car is considered new unless it has been registered before.
