to high on a specific sensor and the fact that it is covered by warranty until the end of '04. It seems that AoA service has been cracking the whip on dealers that don't do warranty repair by the book. I know it is failing, the tech knows it is failing, the service manager knows it is failing, but AoA won't acknowledge it. After buying/leasing 8 Audis in 3 years, this is the kind of thing that drives a customer like myself to Mercedes Benz or BMW. It will be my pleasure to be a part of the next class action lawsuit against AoA which should include damages for extra fuel used because of faulty sensors. The O2 sensor's primary function is to provide feedback to the ECM to attain proper mileage by sending feedback to adjust A/F ratio. Anyone running below advertised mileage claims with a faulty O2 sensor should be able to claim additional damages for this. AoA corporate losers are going to be the death of the product reaching tier 1, IMHO.
