Received rude treatment from Sales Manager, Sunset Imports....
On the S6. Tells me it will take $48,500 to get into the car. I ask him what is he into the car for, what was his cost on the car. He replied -"it doesn't matter what my cost on the car is, I am not in the business of selling rare cars without making any money."
He wasn't about to work with me in anyway. Although I am from a dealership, and was trying to work something out regarding my car through my dealership, I was still calling in as a customer and a current Audi customer at that.
I was surprised and disappointed that he iced the conversation and a sale that quickly.

He sounds like a tool to me... "I'm not in the business of....blah blah blah"
STFU *******. Not that he had to tell you, but he didn't have to be an arrogant jerk-off about it.

Chalk it up as a lesson learned...
not that you need it, but the guy could sell more cars at his price if he decided to provide good customer service instead of being a jerk. I've been known to haggle less aggressively if the sales department is cordial and doesn't try to work me over. Their bottom line is their bottom line but they don't have to lose a customer by just being rude.

Are you kidding..
Most of the sales people for Audi/VW are idiots and extremely rude/snobbish. If the moron knew how to sell cars, the damn car would not be sitting on the lot for ONE SECOND.. it would be in the possession of an owner. If the guy you're dealing with doesn't make enough money from sales to actually OWN ONE HIMSELF, then he is an incompetent salesman and has no business representing the manufacturer. Most of these bozos give wrong information about car maintenance to owners also. They don't know their product, and they don't have a CLUE who their target audience should be.

Yeah, I'm kidding...
Most? And your experience extends to how many sales people? Your post leads me to believe that the sales people you have come into contact with may have preferred to get rid of you rather than sell you a car.
