Same thing happened to me last week. Reckless to speeding and $200. $400 for the lawyer.

Default Not really, it would cost me a lot more to pay jacked up insurance for 11 years.
Getting a good lawyer was a much more affordable solution.

Default Good for you! Next time don't PO the cop!
I've gotten speeding tickets in VA (fortunately none lately) and the cops will generally keep it under 20over even if you're really hoofing it as long as you don't give them a hard time.
