Red "T" in 2.7T rear decklid badge?

Is this just a European/German difference in badging, or does the red T signify anything specific?

don't think that is an actual OEM badge used. The A4 had a red accent by the T in the 1.8T for the sport edition a few years ago, but I have never seen the 2.7 with anything like that.

If there is no part number I would guess it is not factory part.

It's plastic & smaller than the OEM one on the car...I thought the back of my silver car could use a splash of red.
