It was the radiator, the whole thing was replaced. While the tech was inspecting the car. He found both upper link worn, tie rod ends bad, torn right CV boot, leaking motor mounts. Total came to $3371. I paid $50 deductible. Am I glad I have extended warranty. The warranty company was actually giving my service advisor hell cause I only took the car in for radiator. But now they have to pay the extra $2500.

Default how did he find a "leaking" motor mount... motor mounts are solid

metal housings with a big rubber bushing on the inside?

I've heard from dealer mechanics that they have fluid in them and can/do leak! :/

no, they have fluid in them - thus hydraulic motor mounts.

Default Have you? Inside that rubber bubble is thick fluid.

The trans mount is solid, but the engine mounts are liquid filled.
