Default umm yes... 6 engine pulls on a S4, A6, and a TT.. all have

solid motor mounts.

Default But they do not have solid mounts. It's a VERY common failure for the motormounts to spring a leak.

VW/Audi have been using hydro mounts for a LONG time.

Default you will be very surprised... when i get home.. I will pull up some pictures

of cracked/destroyed motor mounts and brand new motor mounts that we've replaced and you will see that there isn't a drop of liquid in it.

Default Maybe that's because they're cracked and destroyed?

I've heard of leaking motor mounts too but don't have your hands-on experience.

Default hahaha i knew someone would say that.. .there is no sign of liquid

and none in the new motor mount either.

Default the metal housing is two pieces... just lift the top and blam..

there's the rubber bushing.
