just got used a6 no remote key trying to purchase one on ebay need the freq to get right one how would i figure this out. Dealer wants 250.00 for one key!!!

or search for it. to help you all someone has to do is remove the key from the remote as if they were going to replace the batteries. frequency alone will not get you the right key.

try a different dealer. i think i paied $125 including programing for my 02 a6 4.2.
