Default remote trunk release button
sort of embarassing~but it just happened: did anyone have the remote trunk release button fall off (99 a6)? not a big deal but really quite annoying. Anything i can do to put it back in there? thanks~

Default Yeah, it happened to me too.. The little tabs that keep it in broke off...
and the springs pushed it out. what I did was just put it back in, without the little springs, it just sits there, recessed a little. It still works fine.

Same happened to me. I removed the little spring and stuck the button back in there. Works like a charm.

Default Yep. Actually, both of the buttons there are like that on my car...
the trunk button, and the interior sensor one..
