Default Removed my 628 relay today.

Very quick and easy mod with nice results. Much better road feel at all speeds. I do think it could use a little boost at parking lot speeds though.

I have a 605 relay and put a switch to revert back to the boosted steering for the wife. If you leave it out for a while you will get used to it. I never use the switch but the wife needs it.

Has anyone done a writeup for the switch mod?

Default My servotronic has been out for a long time...

...I can't even imagine going back. At times, it's like the std power steering is too much!

I agree about the parking lot feel. To bad we couldn't modulate the effect.

Default Why pull it, when you can just bypass it...

Default I did the same. I'll even use it in a tight parking lot.

I think having 255 series tires makes it even harder to muscle the wheel around without the servo.
