I have a 2002 A6Q Sedan. The Bently manual procedure for removing the parcel shelf involves removing seatbelts and the sides of the seats. Has anyone done this in a less complicated way? Thanks in advance.

You ahve to remove the seatbacks and the side bolsters beacuse of teh seatbelts that run through the holes in the shelf. To remove the shelf itslef, you also have to remove the C- and D-pillars, which are not that easy. Follow the Bentley...there is no shortcut.

Thanks for the tip. I've already got the D-Pillar molding off on the driver's side. I guess I'll do the passenger side as well, since there are connections for the antenna amp I have to check there. What I'm really after is checking the connections of the Diversity Antenna Selector. Can this be accessed without removing the parcel shelf? Thanks.

that piece holds in a large "hook" on the side of the rear shelf. You need to remove 3 or 4 torx bolts along the rearward edge (IIRC) and then pull towards the center of the car to release the metal clips.
