Is there a less expensive way to get your hands on a key fob than what the dealer charges for a new one.TIA

I got one off ebay, but still had to have the dealer cut the key part, 62.00 for that part alone. Another 60 for the transmitter portion, got one off ebay for 20.

now, 45 buy it now feature, others as well.

just search under ebay motors, parts, type in audi a6 key, you get all the current listings

If you get it from the dealer, its about 125 total, I think,

Not sure how much they will charge just to cut a blank, but might be more because they did not make anything on the sale. MIght be worth a call before you try.
