Default If I can get to 180K and 6 more years on my 2001...

without braking the bank in maintenance, I won't care what it is worth when it is finished.

On a related note, to get the A6, I traded in a 1994 Infiniti J-30 with 204K miles, a cracked windshield, a short-circuiting headlight, and a pretty bad shimmy and got $1,500. I was surprised and pleased!

Thankyou all for the imput. I know the car won't be worth much in ten years and it wasn't bought for an investment. Just wanted to see if anyone thought it would be worth much of anything if it was kept in mint condition with fairly low miles.

The car has a really cool appeal to me that's why I bought it. Audi is expensive to own but it sure the heck beats many other brands in terms of build quality. It's so much fun to drive!!

Default If you are keeping it 10 years, then resale value is really not very important.

If you were planning on keeping it 2 or 3 years, you would have cause to worry. In fact, once you get past 5 or 6 years, the Audi disadvantage on resale starts to subside.

Default As with all Audi's yes look at what they sell used >

A8's for pennies on the dollar. Audi just doesn't hold their value.
