Default Retrofit Nav System?

I was wondering if it's possible to retrofit an Audi nav system on a 98 A6 sedan. I've looked at the assembly instructions, and there are places for all the components to go, but I was wondering if it's been done or if anyone knows that it can be done. Let me know.

Thanks,

Ted Stein

Default Easier to purchase good aftermarket system. The stock system is very seamless, but requires a lot of

wiring and integration. You can ask your local service advisor what they would charge to do the job.

Installing the NavPlus unit might be slightly easier. If you go to the VWvortex site and look under the electronic/new Jetta forums, you can search out where one guy did it.

Default Well, look a few thread above. Spoke too soon.

I have used the NavPlus in the US, and it is nice. Slow to calculate though, and CD based.
