Road damage is not covered by initial warranty, is it?? ...

I have a slightly chipped passenger rear tail light (don't know how it happened). I don't expect that it would be covered, but if it is, I would like to have it done while it is in there.
Side note: for a lazy guy like me, what should I expect to pay for a single rear tail light (oem)?? I really like the Carbonlord smoked look (especially on light silver), but probably don't want to spend $300 to achieve it.
